The Administrator is appointed annually by the Selectboard and is responsible for overseeing maintenance, enforcing rules and coordinating burials in the Town’s active cemeteries.
The Town is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of four cemeteries:
- Barnumtown Cemetery
- Beers Cemetery (a/k/a Layn Cemetery)
- Boro Cemetery
- Florona Grange Cemetery (a/k/a Smith Cemetery)
Currently, only Boro Cemetery has open available plots. Please contact the Cemetery Administrator for further information regarding the purchase of plots.
