The Russell Library is holding its annual Strawberry Festival, Silent Auction and Used Book Sale fundraiser in the midst of the town-wide celebration of Monkton’s 250th Anniversary on Sunday, June 24th from noon til 3pm at the Central School gym, and we’re looking for donations of used books! Fiction, non-fiction, classics, children’s books, cookbooks, travel books……. all these and more welcome. We’re NOT able to accept encyclopedias, textbooks or magazines of ANY kind or videos (DVD, VHS, or video games). Please drop off items at the library during our regular hours ONLY (Tues: 4-8, Fri: 9-1, Sat: 9-2) or call the library @ 453-4471 to arrange a meet-up.
