SOLAR ECLIPSE VIEWING PARTY will be at the Monkton Town Hall on April 8, 2024 from 1:00 to 4:30.

Queen Bee and ReMarcAble Bakery will be there selling food during the event.  There will be lawn games and an outdoor walk through the solar system.  Eugenie Doyle will lead Yoga 101 a 20-minute guided practice from 1:15 to 1:35pm, craft making for all ages from 1 to 3pm in the Friends Methodist Church community rooms, a sing-a-long led by Lee Kauppila from 1:45 to 2:30, and a selfie booth 1 to 4:30pm.  The eclipse will begin around 2:15 with totality at 3:26pm.  If you haven’t read any articles about eye safety, this article was recently published by UVM.  Continue reading “Solar Eclipse Viewing Party”
