Notice: A local Monkton contractor will be fixing (paving over) two bumps on Monkton Road near the Wooden Hammer on Friday afternoon September 11, 2026. One lane will be open at all times, but expect delays.

 

Dear Residents,

Now that the August 11th primary is complete, all signs placed in the town right of way must be immediately removed (10 V.S.A. §§481-506.)

Signs left in the right of way makes mowing by the highway department more difficult and time consuming.
