The town was informed of several incidents of damage / theft and trespassing on private land related to political signs. As a reminder, damage to signs is a criminal offense under Vermont law. We encourage all residents to engage in disagreement respectfully.

Update: Upper Piney Woods Road Work
See below updated timeframe for road work on the upper section of Piney Woods Road.
Special Town Meeting
Attendance at the Special Town Meeting. The Selectboard is recommending that people carpool if they can and show up early to check in to the meeting. This will help hopefully to avoid a backlog / line of people waiting to check in to have their Monkton voter registration confirmed. The doors should be open by 6:45 pm.
