Below are the Warnings and Sample Ballots for  the Presidential Primary, Town Meeting, Special Meeting for the Bond Vote, MAUSD and Patricia Hannaford Technical School Districts.  Please review them carefully.  Absentee Ballots are available at Town Hall.  All Ballot issues will be voted on at the Monkton Fire Station on Tuesday March 3, 2020 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Presidential Primary – Democratic and Republican Party primaries. Vote on Tuesday March 3, 2020.

Annual Town Meeting – Annual Meeting on Saturday February 29, 2020 at 10:00 a.m at the Monkton Central School.  Australian Ballot Articles voted on Tuesday March 3, 2020 at the Monkton Fire Station.

Special Meeting for Bond Vote – Bond vote regarding new Town Offices and Library.  Informational meeting as part of Town Meeting, Saturday February 29, 2020.  Vote on Tuesday March 3, 2020.

Mount Abe Unified School District – Annual meeting Tuesday, February 25, 2020 in the large Cafeteria of Mount Abe at 6:00 p.m.  Australian Ballot Articles voted on Tuesday March 3, 2020 at the Monkton Fire Station.

Patricia A. Hannaford Regional Technical School District – Annual meeting on February 12, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Hannaford Career Center.  Australian Ballot Articles voted on Tuesday March 3, 2020 at the Monkton Fire Station.

The Monkton Selectboard is starting the process of throwing up, or downgrading the classification of, unused roads in Monkton that no longer have a public function following the procedures laid out in 19 V.S.A. §708-711.  Written requests regarding roads, or portions thereof, to be considered are being accepted by the Monkton Selectboard through June 28^th.  Email Selectboard@monktonvt.com or send mail to P.O.
