There will be numerous ballots and decisions to make on November 8, 2016. In addition to the General Election where Federal, State and Local candidates will be elected, the voters of Monkton will also be asked to decide whether to accept the proposed unification of school districts recommended by the ANESU Act 46 Study Committee, to choose members of the unified board if the recommendation passes and to approve the revised Unified Planning Document in it’s entirety. Development Review Board position
The Town of Monkton is seeking to fill a position on its Development Review Board (DRB). The 7-member DRB Board is responsible for reviewing and approving all proposed development projects. This includes conditional use, variance, site plan, and subdivision approvals. The DRB meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, 7:30 p.m. at Monkton Town Hall.
