Meeting on the Future of the Monkton Post Office
A meeting with Postal Officials to seek community input on the future of the Monkton post office is being held at the Monkton Volunteer Fire Dept on Thursday, 1/10 at 5 pm.
Postal official s are considering options for the Monkton Post Office, including severely limiting the hours or shutting it down completely. If you would like your opinion heard on the future of the Monkton Post office, please plan on attending.
OK to bring kids to the meeting. If you can’t make it right at 5 pm, come when you can.

VERMONT GAS PIPELINE PROPOSAL MEETING
On Thursday, January 10, at 7:00pm at the Monkton Volunteer Fire Department, Monkton residents are invited to attend a public meeting regarding the Addison Natural Gas Pipeline Project. The meeting will include representatives from Vermont Gas to review the current pipeline route and discuss alternative routes within Monkton.
