Public Hearing by Vermont Gas at Vergennes Opera House

 

Event Date: Thursday, March 27, 2025 – 7:00 pm, 6:00 pm for the presentation by VT Gas, come early to sign up to speak

RE: Petition of Vermont Gas Systems, Inc. to amend certificate of public good #7970

Before: VT Public Utility Commission

Location: in-person – Vergennes Opera House

The public hearing will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, in-person, at the Vergennes Opera House, 120 Main Street, Vergennes, VT 05491. The Public Hearing will begin at 7:00 P.M., or immediately following a presentation at 6:00 P.M. hosted by the Vermont Department of Public Service where Vermont Gas Systems, Inc. will describe the amendment and answer questions about project details. All petition materials are available online at https://epuc.vermont.gov/ in Case #25-0055-PET.

Monkton Roads Status

As of Noon Tuesday, December 19:

Piney Woods Road and Hollow Road are closed. We do not expect either of these roads to be back open for a couple of days until they can be inspected/repaired.

Covered Bridge and Higbee Roads are back open.
