The Monkton Select Board has warned a special election to vote on adopting the new zoning bylaws.  The warning for this election reads as follows:

The legal voter of the Town of Monkton, Vermont are hereby warned and notified that Article 1 will be voted by Australian Ballot Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the Town Hall in said Town of Monkton.  Polls will be open at 7:00 am and close at 7:00 pm

Article 1: Shall the voters of the Town of Monkton adopt the Unified Planning Document files with the Clerk of the Town of Monkton on January 24, 2012? 

Copies of the Unified Planning Document are available at the Town Clerk’s Office during regular business hours and online at Unified Planning Document

A new revision of the Unified Planning Document is available at the Town Hall.  There is a special election on February 23, 2012 at Town Hall to vote on adopting this document.  A online copy of the document is available here Unified Planning Document.
