The Town of Monkton will be holding Grievance Hearings on June 18th and 19th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.
Please call the Monkton Town Clerk’s Office at (802)453-3800 to schedule an appointment.
A person who feels their appraisal is incorrect and desires to be heard by the listers, shall, on or before the day of the grievance meeting, file with them their objections in writing and may appear at such grievance meetings in person or by their agent or attorneys.

The road will be open but expect delays.

The Monkton Selectboard is starting the process of throwing up, or downgrading the classification of, unused roads in Monkton that no longer have a public function following the procedures laid out in 19 V.S.A. §708-711.
