The following Town of Monkton officials will be elected at Town Meeting on March 4th, 2014. Town of Monkton Notice of Public Hearing
On the Proposed Town Plan
The Monkton Selectboard will hold a Public Hearing at 7:00 PM on Wednesday January 29,2014 at the Monkton Town Hall, to take public testimony on the proposed Town Plan for the Town of Monkton.
The purpose of a town plan is to provide a vision for orderly development with in the town. It is essentially a “picture in time” that uses existing conditions to guide zoning and development decisions for the next five year period. Continue reading “Notice of Public Hearing on Proposed Town Plan”
