Hollow Road currently has water over half of the West Bound travel lane. As you all know, this happens anytime we get a large amount of water. (this time being ice melt). Please drive with caution and observe the “High Water Ahead” signs along with the “Caution Frost Heave” signs that were already in place there. If the water gets higher and starts getting deeper on the roadway, the Town will be planning to close the road temporarily. (Same as we’ve done in the past). If we do end up closing the road, we will make sure there’s plenty of signage on the road and will provide notice to residents.
