The Monkton Town Hall will remain open but in order to protect the health and well-being of the Town employees, we would like your help in limiting the number of people visiting Town Hall.  If your business can be done by phone or email we would be happy to help.  The Town Clerk, Treasurer, Listers and Zoning Administrator can do simple research and scan documents to your office and residence.  Normal Town Clerk rates and charges will still apply.  If you do need to come to Town Hall, visitors will be restricted to the main meeting room and reference documents will be brought out from the vault.  Please make sure to thoroughly wash your hands upon entering Town Hall and please don’t come if you are sick or feeling ill. Several residents have reached out to ask how they can help.  We have created an electronic volunteer sign up sheet that can be used to connect those in need with volunteers willing to help.  The situation is very fluid and changes every day but social distancing is only about person to person interactions and not how we operate as a community.
