The Town of Monkton has arranged for a navigator to be available at Town Hall between 4 and 6 on Monday November 25th. Navigators are available in communities throughout the state to help individual Vermonters, small employers, and their employees understand their health care options. Navigators are able to assist you with finding a health plan that meets your needs and budget, completing an application, and, if you qualify , accessing financial help. There are three 40 minute time slots available – 4:00, 4:40 and 5:20 although more may be available if there is a great deal of interest. Please sign up with the Sharon Gomez, the Town Clerk, during normal Town business hours at 453-3800. When meeting with the navigator please take the time to look at the health plan offerings at Vermont Health Care. Private health plans are here and public health plans are here . If you are interested in discussing your eligibility for subsidies, a copy of your last tax return would be helpful.
