Reminder: Dog Licenses due April 1st.
The Monkton Town Clerk will be available to issue dog licenses to Monkton patrons. Dog licenses are due April 1st. Prices before and up to April 1st, 2013 will be $11 to $15 depending on if your dog is spayed or neutered or not. After April 1st, the price goes up to $13 to $19. Special licenses are required for kennels. Check with Town Clerk Sharon Gomez for information at 453-3800 during regular office hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays 8am – 1pm. Tuesday and Thursday evenings 4pm – 7pm

The Town of Monkton is looking for qualified individuals to serve as Town Officers or as members of Commissions or Boards. Below is a list of appointed positions in Monkton that you might be interested in volunteering for. Positions shaded in grey will be appointed in the coming weeks. The Selectboard will make appointments at their next regularly scheduled meeting Monday March 25th.
