Regarding the Governor’s announcement ordering Vermont schools to close no later than this Wednesday until April 6th. No specifics yet about details of the closure for Mount Abraham Unified School District schools. The Administrative team is meeting later today, I’m sure more specific details will be forthcoming. The Superintendent has been meeting all weekend with State officials and other Superintendents. Any updates specific to the MAUSD schools closing will be posted as soon as we have them.

Several residents have reached out to ask how they can help.  We have created an electronic volunteer sign up sheet that can be used to connect those in need with volunteers willing to help.  The situation is very fluid and changes every day but social distancing is only about person to person interactions and not how we operate as a community.
