The Town of Monkton Selectboard is looking for people interested in forming a new Housing Committee. Preliminary work would focus on developing a mission statement and then working on exploring and developing solutions to create more affordable and medium income housing in Monkton. Investigations could include proposing changes to zoning regulations, partnering with local groups and non-profits, exploring grant opportunities and generating proposals for ARPA monies.
