The Monkton Selectboard and the Development Review Board (DRB) are both currently seeking someone to take minutes for their meetings. The Selectboard meets for about two hours twice a month, and the DRB meets for less than two hours twice a month. It’s an interesting way to stay informed about town business while earning money. Minutes do not have to be taken in person as the meetings are broadcast on Zoom and recorded. The written minutes must give a true indication of the business of the meeting covering all topics that arise. They must include the names of all present, the motions made, and the results of votes.
