Complete Streets – What’s Next?

The Monkton Planning Commission will host a public meeting to start the community discussion about  The Complete Streets Study and the strategies available to the Town to meet our transportation needs.  The meeting will be held on Thursday, September 4th at the Fire Station on State’s Prison Hollow Road and will begin at 7:30.

We know from the study completed last fall that we have a variety of options available to us, ranging from the inexpensive such as new striping and fog line on the roads, village gateway visual cues, roundabouts etc.  Information and preliminary designs for the Park and Ride project will also be available for review.
