Reminder: Property Taxes Due Monday, Nov. 17 by 5:00 PM

The Town Treasurer is available for extended hours next week, if you wish to make your payment in person:
Monday Nov. 10 – Friday, Nov. 14:  8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Saturday Nov. 15:  8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Monday Nov. 17: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Payment may be left in the drop box at the town hall. Payment must be in the box prior to the deadline to be considered on-time.

Also, as noted on your tax bill, taxes may also be paid by mailing to:
Town of Monkton
PO Box 12
Monkton, VT 05469-0012

Taxes paid by mail must be postmarked PRIOR to November 17, 2014. The town of Monkton is not responsible for mailed tax payments not received.

Vermont Gas Survey Crews

Vermont Gas Systems survey crews will be in the Town of Monkton next week (10/27) completing survey for their distribution network design.  Work will take place on private property where VGS has obtained right of entry permission from property owners or within State/town right of way.
