Town of Monkton Notice of Public Hearing
On the Proposed Town Plan
The Monkton Selectboard will hold a Public Hearing at 7:00 PM on Wednesday January 29,2014 at the Monkton Town Hall, to take public testimony on the proposed Town Plan for the Town of Monkton.
The purpose of a town plan is to provide a vision for orderly development with in the town. It is essentially a “picture in time” that uses existing conditions to guide zoning and development decisions for the next five year period. Continue reading

The Public Service Board has issued the Addison Natural Gas Project Phase 1 a Certificate of Public Good and issued a Final Order regarding the project.
The Town has received a Public Notice for the US Army Corps of Engineers stating that Vermont Gas put in an application. Please read the Public Notice if you wish to make comments to the Army Corps of Engineers or request a public hearing.
The Selectboard will meet on December 30th instead of December 23rd.
