The Town of Monkton has an urgent need to fill the following 3 positions:
- Animal Control Officer – responsible for enforcing State laws and Town Ordinances regarding care, treatment, licensing, and impoundment of animals; picks up sick, injured, stray or vicious animals. Pay is $15/hr with 3 hour minimum per month.
- Development Review Board (DRB) – Board performs site plan reviews, subdivision reviews and rules on implementation of zoning regulations. Applicants are encouraged to attend one or more meetings.
- Planning Commission – responsible for drafting Town Plan and land use bylaws (zoning regulations). Applicants are encouraged to attend one or more meetings.
